ABOUT US
Puhoi Honey Ltd is a family owned and operated business that continues a passion and a tradition of working with bees and honey that stretches back over three generations. From our base in the heart of the Puhoi Valley North Auckland we manage over 1700 beehives producing a variety of high quality honeys, bees wax and propolis.
WORKING WITH NATURE
We believe that a healthy bee population is an essential part of a healthy environment and a key part of that is maintaining extremely strong and healthy hives which we achieve through using an intensive method of beekeeping that was developed over three decades.

THE FOUNDER
Alex Alipiev
Alex is a third generation beekeeper. His family has a long tradition of beekeeping since 1910. He is originally from Bulgaria where he has a Master of Science (MSc) degree from Sofia University in Biochemistry and Microbiology.
Alex founded Puhoi Honey in 2013.

We are constantly looking for new sites. Become a host for our hives and receive the benefits of increased yield for your crops and pasture as well as getting at least one free box of honey per annum.
